Jump Frog, Leap

Kaeru means "frog" and "to return"  in Japanese. He is the protagonist of our game, a Shinto god who is stuck in a rock climbing gym in perpetuity. It may seem like he is having an existential crisis, yet this is not true. He understands his true purpose is to return and try again every time he loses his footing and falls. By making missteps, Kaeru and you (the one who guides him) find motivation in mastery and repetition sans completion.
